A few places are still available for the symposium that Hertfordshire Geological Society is organising on Saturday 13 July in partnership with Hertfordshire Natural History Society.

The conference commemorates the work of Prof. John Catt, contributing editor of our acclaimed best-seller Hertfordshire Geology and Landscape, who died in December 2017. Taking place at the University of Hertfordshire's field station at Bayfordbury, it will provide an exceptional opportunity to hear experts explaining the key geological features shaping our county's natural history.  The cost for the day is ?25, including lunch.

For full details of the programme and booking information, visit our meetings page.

Hertfordshire Geology and Landscape can be purchased, price ?34 plus p&p, via our publications page in a new printing that includes a tribute to Prof. Catt.
