Moths

There moth photographs have been taken in the county by our members. Browse the gallery using the pager at the foot of the page or click on any image to see a larger version. Copyright remains with the photographers and pictures should not be used without written permission.

If you have recent photographs taken in Hertfordshire and would like them added to the gallery, please email them to photogallery@hnhs.org with the name of the species (and Latin name if you know it) and a note where and when they were taken. Don't forget to include your best shots of the more common species too. We may also use some of them on our home page, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr pages and in our journal The Hertfordshire Naturalist.
