HNHS members and non-members are warmly invited to join us for our Annual General Meeting and a programme of topical talks. The meeting will take place from 2 to 5.30pm at the offices of Affinity Water, Tamblin Way Hatfield AL10 9EZ

Papers for the AGM, including proposed constitutional amendments were emailed (or posted to those not on email) on Tuesday 12 September 2023.

2pm: Welcome – Peter Tallantire, HNHS Chair.

2.05pm: The water situation in Hertfordshire – Alister Leggatt, Affinity Water

2.10pm: St Albans Wilderhood Watch – a community approach to conserving nature – Nadia Bishara, Wilderhood Watch founder

2.40pm: Angling and nature conservation in the Colne Valley – Tony Booker, Chair of the Colne Valley Fisheries Consultative and Anthony Johns, Sabeys Pool Fisheries Manager

3.20pm: Update on the Hertfordshire Mammals, Amphibians and Reptiles Atlas – Chantal Helm

3.30pm: The 2023 HNHS Awards

3.45pm: Refreshments break.  An opportunity to visit displays and the HNHS bookstall. Herts County Wildlife Recorders will be available to answer questions about recording and monitoring in the county.

4.20pm: HNHS Annual General Meeting

4.40pm: Water Voles in the Lea Valley, a landscape scale assessment – Martin Ketcher

5.20: Summing up and raffle draw.

5.30: Close
